The Riverside Bar is a great place to sit and watch the world go by. With our fully licenced bar, lounge area and balcony overlooking the River Great Ouse and Town Bridge, it has to be the best place in Bedford to enjoy a drink. Our bar serves a full selection of hot & cold drinks. We are partnered with Brewpoint and serve a range of their ales and lagers.
On Saturday and Sunday mornings we serve breakfasts, rolls, paninis: enjoy a full English breakfast or a ciabatta roll filled with bacon or sausage (or both). We sell brownies made by Patisserie Sheree in Bedford.

The Riverside Bar is a great venue to host your event. Whether it’s a party, a meeting or a Celebration of Life, there is no better venue in Bedford, looking over the River Great Ouse as the sun sets.
With our fully stocked bar, dance floor and sound system, you and your guests can party the night away. We are happy to allow you to organise your own catering and DJ, singer – anything that takes your fancy. With a capacity of 100 people we can cater for practically all events.

Team Meetings
Getting away from the office – a change of scenery – is always good for team building. Add a bit of excitement by including an activity! Come to BRC. Have your team meeting in the morning, then a buffet lunch and re-energise your team with some team rowing in the afternoon. It’s a great way to bond the team together and create some camaraderie.

Celebrations of Life (Wakes)
The Riverside Bar is the best venue in Bedford to hold a Celebration of Life (Wake) for a dearly loved relative or friend. A Celebration of Life held at the Riverside Bar allows you to remember your loved one enjoying a spectacular view of Bedford and the River Great Ouse. Our club has parking so that you and your guests can drive from the ceremony to the Celebration of Life without hassle.
Our aim is to make this stressful time for you as pain-free as possible. We can arrange catering, you can display a montage of photos on our big screen. In the past we have arranged mini-exhibitions of works of art that tells a little more about the person who has passed.
Catering can be provided by our partners to meet your tastes and budget. We have a fully stocked bar.
